The Rwanda National Union of the Deaf (RNUD) is a national non-governmental organization established in 1989 by Deaf people and is dedicated to advocate for equal opportunities for Deaf Rwandans and for their human rights as provided by international and national law.
To ensure that Deaf people exercise their human rights at all levels.
To advocate for human rights of the Deaf, promote access to quality services like education, health services in general and build the capacity of the Union of the Deaf at the National level and grass root level.
To ensure that human rights of the Deaf Rwandan are effectively implemented and respected.
